Around Phitsanulok

Phitsanulok

I came to thailnd to teach Pre-K and kindergarten aged Thai students English. My favorite adventures and memories happened in the city we taught at Phitsnaulok. We taught at St Paul Kindergarten. We taught for two hours 9-11am and two hours in the afternoon 1:30-3:30 each day. Teaching was hard for me at times, it is not natural for me to play with kids. But I'm so grateful I got to do this and learn some new skills. Our city is gorgeous too. Its not too busy. Each Saturday it has a big market and each day there is a big fruit maket. Last time I went I got about 2 dozen bananas, two dragon fruit and 2 mangoes for a $1.38 total. I love how cheap things are here. We run nearly every mooning at 5:30am. I run with two of the other teachers Kenzie and Sarah, sometimes one of the other girls will join us. We run a route that loops two of the bridges that cross the river here. There are three bridges total, each named for one of the princes and the princess. People here are very proud to be Thai. There are lots of assemblies and pictures of the king hanging up around the city. Unlike in America you simple do not talk bad about the King. People adore the late King. It was really cool to get to set up a home for a summer in Phitsanulok.
Discovered a love for Dragon Fruit in Thailand, its so cheap too

Ledge at school were we watched the sunset until one of the girls tripped and fell off (thankfully she's okay) But we dont go up there anymore

One of the girls bikes broke and this lady stopped, left her kids with some store workers near by and drove me back with the broken bike to the school. I offered to pay her but she just told to follow her on Facebook. People her are so insistent on being nice, things like this happen all the time. They refuse not to help you, I want to be more like that.
